Dr Cassandra Chapman holds a PhD in the psychology of charitable giving (University of Queensland) and is now an Associate Professor of Marketing and ARC DECRA Fellow, specialised in donor psychology and fundraising.
Cassandra is principal researcher and the driving force behind the Donor Psychology website. Combining academic training with professional fundraising experience, Cassandra aims to create actionable insight for the nonprofit sector.
Dr Cassandra and her team consider the motivations underlying people’s choice of which nonprofits to support (and which to neglect). They offer actionable insights for time poor fundraisers, in depth research, facilitate collaborative research with Fundraising academics and Fundraising Practitioners and so much more....
It is safe to say that the Future of truly understanding the psychology of charitable giving is bright with Dr Cassandra at the helm.........
