As you all know, this Hub is the beating heart of the Fundraising Nest. It's where we come together to design, collaborate and share for the greater good.
As part of our partnership with Making Everything Achievable we have been tasked with creating a contemporary Fundraising 101 Glossary of Terms. A resource for those brand new to the sector or folks branching out of their area of expertise. We also want this resource to read with an Australian & Aotearoa context! We will then create a document with related Māori & Indigenous terms that can help bridge the gap between our worldviews 🌏
So...we have a challenge for you!
Note: We are only looking for additions to this at this stage.
Step 1: Jump into this Google Doc Glossary of Fundraising Terms - Working document. It is a direct copy of AFP's Glossary ((2010) with permission).
Step 2: Select the Editing dropdown on the right hand side of the toolbar and change to Suggesting.
Step 3: Add any terms you think are missing......along with a description if you can articulate that, too.
